About Our Shop

The history of our shop can be traced back to the late 1940's when Harold Gervais became a co-owner of a Texaco full service gas station in Chicago's Rosemoor neighborhood.  He raised nine children and three of his sons followed his footsteps of diagnosing and repairing problems with our customers cars.  He ran his business in Chicago and then moved to the south suburb of Homewood in 1970 until he retired in 1989.  For a short time he helped me operate my own Texaco service station on Joe Orr Road and Dixie Highway in Chicago Heights, which I operated until 1987.  The industry was changing, and my auto service  business was growing.  We purchased property on Halsted across from Prairie State College and built our own tire and auto repair business.  With the help of my wife Valerie and many good past and current employees, we continue to have a successful business.  I can say that I owe much of the success that we have had to Valerie and the honest service my dad taught me to always give.  This type of business is always changing and keeping up with it is a challenge we embrace every day. Our goal is to be here when you need us and to suggest maintenance as needed to keep your car safe and ready to keep you on the road.
